Worn Out But Still Worthy
Finding Strength in Motherhood Without Losing Yourself
Let’s keep it real—motherhood is beautiful, but it can also feel like you’re running on 0% battery with no charger in sight. 😮💨🔋
This one’s for the moms who feel unseen, unworthy, or stretched so thin you’re about to snap.
The ones carrying silent battles but still showing up day after day. 💪🫶
What Does God Say About Feeling Worn Out? 💤✝️
Isaiah 40:29 hits different:
"He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless."
Translation: God sees you, Mama.
He knows you’re tired. He knows you feel maxed out.
And guess what? He’s still right there, ready to lift you when you’re running on fumes.
Let’s Talk About Mom Guilt 😩🫣
Fun fact (but not really):
Studies say moms feel 23 guilt attacks per week—that’s 3 times a day thinking “I’m not enough.”
And let’s not even start on the social media pressure to be the "perfect mom" with the perfect snacks and Pinterest-worthy life. 🥴📱
And if you’ve got trauma in the mix?
Whew. The questions hit harder:
Did I mess my kids up? 😔
Will my trauma become their trauma? 😩
Can God even forgive the times I got it wrong? 😭
Spoiler: Yes, He can. And yes, He already has.
What Actually Brings Healing? 🩹💬
Not trying harder. Not pushing through.
Healing starts when you trust God with the mess you’ve been trying to hide.
Jesus showed us this with the Samaritan woman. He didn’t avoid her mess—He met her right in the middle of it, spoke life over her story, and reminded her she was still worthy. 🕊️
Real-Life Ways to Start Healing 👣📝
Here are some real moves you can make this week (no, they don’t involve fixing everything by tomorrow):
Pause and breathe before reacting (deep breaths are free 😮💨)
Journal your real, unfiltered feelings 🖊️
Accept help without apologizing (you don’t have to carry it all alone) 🤝
Take 10 minutes daily just to sit with God (no pressure, no performance) 🕊️
Talk to God like a friend—He’s not grading your prayers 💬
This Week’s Challenge ✅💭
Name the areas where you feel totally burned out
Practice pausing before reacting when it gets chaotic
Say yes when someone offers to help (seriously, let them)
Block out quiet time with God—even if it’s just five minutes with your coffee ☕
Ask Yourself 🧠:
What would it look like to trust God with the mess instead of hiding it?
Where am I still carrying what God’s trying to heal?
How can I stop performing and start receiving?
Final Reminder 📌
God’s not asking for your perfection.
He’s inviting you to give Him permission to heal what’s draining you.
You don’t have to fix it all today.
You just have to let Him in. 💖🕊️
