More Than Money
True wealth is a blessing from God.
It comes with peace, fulfillment, and joy—without stress, guilt, or any need to justify it. God desires prosperity for His people, and it goes far beyond money. His blessings bring a richness to our lives that includes purpose and contentment. Proverbs 10:22 says it well: "The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it." Today, let’s explore what it means to live in God’s blessings and understand the purpose behind the prosperity He provides.
The Unchanging God
God does not change.
This is not just a comforting fact; it’s a challenge to us. In a world that constantly shifts and evolves, God remains the same, steady and unchanging.
As Hebrews 13:8 (NLT) reminds us, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." His faithfulness, love, and holiness remain constant, regardless of time or circumstances. Because of His unchanging nature, we are called to rise higher and live lives that reflect His consistency and character. His standards don’t change with culture or trends, and neither should our commitment to live according to His truth.
Keep the Switch of Faith Turned On
Trust in God’s promises
Faith is often described as the unseen force that connects us to God's power. Much like the way an electric switch controls the flow of electricity, faith controls the flow of God’s power into our lives. In moments of doubt or struggle, it's essential to "keep the switch of faith turned on." This means continuing to believe and trust in God’s promises, regardless of whether or not we see immediate results.

This isn’t just about gaining wealth

Could it be they were trying to remind us to be thankful and to appreciate all the great things we have in our life? Too often we focus on what is missing in our lives instead of being grateful for what we do have.
The same is true in our relationship with God.Many times, we complain to God about the imperfect circumstances we find ourselves in, the problems we are facing, how things are not good enough, and how things could be better if only this or that was in place.
